What is Facial and Eyebrow Threading?

Threading is the art of removing facial hair and shaping brows via a piece of thread specifically made for facial hair removal. Threading originated in India over 6000 years ago. Originally a street art form, it has grown in notoriety in the U.S. over the past decade as an alternative form of hair removal to waxing. Threading is mostly used to remove hair from the face; mainly the brows; however it can be used to remove body hair as well. Threading is great for clients with sensitive skin or whom have allergies to the ingredients in wax. It is a great technique to learn as there is "currently" no formal regulations that require threaders to obtain a professional beauty license; therefore, we do not require a license to take our Facial and Brow Threading classes.

  • Beauty hobbyist who do not hold a professional license in or out of the state of Ohio

  • Beauty students who are interested in adding threading to their list of skills.

  • Tattoo and Permanent make-up artist, barbers, nail technicians where hair removal is not within their scope of practice.

  • Licensed professionals; cosmetologists, barbers, estheticians, manicurist etc. who want to learn the art of eyebrow and facial threading.

COURSE OPTIONS

CHOOSE HOW TO TAKE YOUR COURSE?

We offer flexible ways to take your Threading class. Our different modes of class instruction are give students options and flexibility, to ensure they feel comfortable in the environment they're learning in, as this ensures the class information can be easily received, and retained. No matter the training type you choose, you will receive the same level of attention and effort from your instructor.

Solo (1-on-1) Threading Course

Perfect for students who need a (1-on-1) class; where it is just you, the instructor and your model. Private classes can be booked any day of the week, Monday through Thursday between 8am and 1pm. Classes are between 3.5-4.5 hours long.

CHOOSE YOUR SOLO COURSE TYPE:

Solo Threading Courses are offered in two methods:
The Basics and Essentials

Each solo class and kit is curated to provide the theory and tools needed to
complete your course, practice outside the classroom and begin servicing clients. 

The basics Threading Kit

Students will learn theory and hands-on techniques for threading the eyebrows and facial hair. Our course includes demonstrations and practice techniques for threading eyebrows, lips, cheeks, sideburns, and foreheads. This is a beginners course for those who are just entering the beauty industry
