Facial threading has been around for decades. It is known as a precise form of hair removal. A fine polyester or cotton thread is rolled over the unwanted hair and then removed from the follicle.
Oppose to waxing, eyebrow threading provides control for shaping eyebrows and is gentler on the skin which makes it perfect for clients that have sensitivities to waxing and other hair removal methods.
Threading can be used on the eyebrows and the face in areas such as, cheeks, sideburns, lips and cheeks. This form of hair removal provides extended periods of relief from hair re-growth up to 4-6 weeks.
We offer packages in 3, 6 and 9 sessions so that you can get the most out of your threading experience.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Threading hurt?
Threading is the least painful method of hair removal for the face. The hairs are gently rolled over with a thin cotton anti-bacterial thread and then gently pulled from the root. There is some minor discomfort; however, most clients find it tolerable.
Do I have to purchase Threading in Sessions?
We highly recommend our Threading packages over, individual pricing to give our clients the best experience. As with any hair removal, the more frequently it is done, the mor eeffective and long lasting it is.
Is Threading Safe?
Facial and Eyebrow Threading is very safe when it is done by professinally trained hands. Recieiving a Threading service from an untrained person can cause damage to your skin and unsatisified results. Always check with the establishement to ensure the person providing the service is properly trained. At LX our Threading professional is not only trained but conducts training classes to the public, to teach the proper technique of eyebrow and facial threading.
What is the aftercare for Eyebrow Threading
It's pretty simple. Hands off, tweezers down. The best thing you can do for your eyebrows in-between Threading Sessions, is to leave your eyebrows alone and let your Threading professional treat them. Especially if your professional states that your brows need to grow out due to improper shaping, over tweezing or razoring.
